Rationale:
In education it is our primary objective to continuously improve teaching and learning for the development of the pupils’ intellectual, physical, social and moral development. Improving the curriculum as it provides opportunities for better learning may attain this goal especially in reading. Through Project CBL, pupils’ skills in reading will be enhanced and developed and eventually their understanding and performance in the different learning areas will also be improved since reading is fundamental for the their understanding. Teachers are also given opportunities to improve and innovate quality instructional materials to upgrade their instruction in English, Math, Science, EPP and other subject areas.

Expected Outcome:
It is expected that the Project CBL will significantly improve the pupils’ performance in English. Math, Science, EPP and Sports.
Rationale:
In our modern world wherein technology is very vital in our daily activities, computer to be specific plays a very important role in our life. In education, computer literacy is a great help and advantage to administrators, teachers, as well students in formulating reports and presentations, in teaching and instruction and reaching information and communication. In using the computer and other technologies during classroom instruction pupils are motivated and active in participation, thus learning become meaningful and lasting and vast of information are on hand. Because of this reason teachers are required to attend computer literacy seminars and programs to enhance their skills in the utilization of computer through Project ICT. Under the supervision of the principal and ICT Coordinator, Kaila Elementary School faculty/staff will be trained on the utilization of the DepEd Package conferred in our school. Pupils will also have hands-on experience on computer-aided instruction, surfing and other activities.

Expected Outcome:
It is expected that 100% of the teachers will gain knowledge and skills through seminars/trainings to be conducted in the school and applies it in the delivery of instruction.
Rationale:
Reading is a skill. Reading must be exercised daily if it is to be retained and enhanced. Project 3 R’s focuses on Reading, Reviewing and Remedial Achievement. This program designed to develop pupil’s reading skills and communications skills. This includes the tasks or work to be done by the students for them to develop study habits, to provide sense of responsibility and accomplishment in the part of a learner.

Expected Outcome:
It is expected that at the end of this project, pupils will improve their reading/performance level in the different areas particularly in English and Filipino.
Rationale:
Reading is a key for learning. One can be literate but not necessarily a reader because reading as a skill requires the development of a habit that should be done time to time and it should be real. In connection with this, project REAL (REad ALways) inculcate the value of reading in their daily lives. Develop among pupils the love for reading.
Target Beneficiaries:
All children enrolled in our school from kindergarten and Grade 1-6 are the primary beneficiaries of the project REAL most especially the non-decoder and syllabic-word reader.
